The first home we looked at in Wolfville set the tone. Donna contacted the sellers immediately and scheduled a visit for the following day, only for us to find an offer had been made and accepted on the first day it was listed. We returned to the States, discouraged but determined as Donna continued to monitor the market. When another house listed that she knew was right for us, she immediately planned a tour, while we did a FaceTime walk-through. Trusting her judgment, we had an offer prepared the same day, sight unseen, only to be outbid by a second offer.

The third time was the charm, as Donna found us a home, worked quickly with us to present a fair offer, and then helped us get to a successful close. Normally, this would not have been a big deal, but we remained quarantined in the States, and unable to travel. Donna took it upon herself to manage the legal, financial, and insurance paperwork all while having to deal with the restrictions on the ground in NS as well. No detail was too small, and no question went unanswered in what was a stressful period.

Donna is an exemplary businesswoman, grace under fire, and well-respected in her field. But for Donna, we’d still be stuck in quarantine, only without a light at the end of our tunnel.
